Very large, extremely rare, limited edition print on canvas, presented in a gallery frame, depicting a Japanese geisha. Created in a classical broken image style, this work is entitled’Chajin’ and is by the highly collectable, winner of the Sky Portrait Artist of the Year 2014, Christian Hook b. Christian Hook was born in Gibraltar, and studied illustration at Middlesex University before working as an illustrator for Disney and later lecturing at the Royal College of Art. In 2014 he won the Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year contest, was awarded the Freedom of the City of Gibraltar in 2017, and his work featured prominently in the 2019 opening exhibition of Clarendon Fine Art Gallery in Hampstead. He now works as a full time artist, inspired by classical art and the broken image, depicting motion, time and the moments that occur between events.
