Sherree Valentine-Daines was born in Effingham, Surrey, and began her professional career as a legal secretary in London, before following her love of art and studying at Epsom School of Art. Upon her graduation in 1980, she spent the summer in Cornwall, painting villages, harbours, beaches and people, and has gone on to become a globally successful artist.
