Craig Alan was born in San Bernardino, California, and studied art while on a soccer scholarship at The University of Mobile, Alabama, where the university’s most prestigious exhibition of 42 works, featured 1 of his, chosen from over 1,600 submissions. He initially worked as a framer before pursuing his career as an artist, and is now an established artist, best known for his Populus series, which features iconic figures, and was inspired from overlooking a wedding party from a balcony where the many patrons seemed to form the shape of an eye. Today he is represented by galleries across the USA, Canada and Europe and his works feature in private and prominent collections across the globe. Signed by the artist lower left.
